 Celebrates National Cowboy Day


Recently Governor Pence Made A Proclamation That The State Of Indiana Will Recognize And Celebrate Saturday, July 26th as THE NATIONAL DAY OF THE COWBOY.


Moose Lake Christian Craft Village Is Honored To Have Been Asked To Host This Celebration By The National Cowboy Associations Board Of Directors Vice Chairman, Jerry Bentley.


 We Will Have The Following:

• cowboy cookout, ham and beans, hot dogs, corn bread all cooked in

• cast iron Dutch ovens over a fire pit

• old time tin type can dress up as a cowboy or cowgirl

• and have your photo taken with an old barn wood frame

• we may have a Cowboy Church Service in Our Church In The Wildwood

• we will have some beautiful horses in corrals for you to see and pet

• we will have wood carvers here with 1 of a kind unique pieces

• we will have a chain saw wood carver here demonstrating the art of

   chain saw wood carving

• cowboy rope tricks

• themed shopping for cowboy merchandise

• themed shopping in our 1800's period stores for hand crafted local

   merchandise and Amish merchandise

• kids cork gun shootout booth

• kids stick pony races

• moose trax kiddie train rides

• kids coloring contest booth

• kids jewelry and craft booth

• fishing in beautiful moose lake where we have 20,000 trophy size fish

• swimming in beautiful moose lake

• paddle boat rides, kayaks, canoes, bikes that ride on the water

• bed and breakfast cabins
