National Cowboy Day
National Cowboy Day
Join us in celebrating the cowboy heritage in Indiana as we relive the old west with cowboys, cowgirls, horses, bucking bulls, horsemanship & roping demonstrations. See Soarin’ Hawks presentation of their birds of prey & Jefferson the bald eagle! There will be cowboy music & entertainment on the village stage along with blacksmith & chainsaw demonstrations. Visit
with Johnny Appleseed as he relives his stories & enjoy open fire cooking at Granny Oagley’s.
For the buckaroos there will also be crafts, games, stick horse races, pony rides and the Moose Trax Train will be running throughout the village.
Check out some of the local artisan’s wares; old time photography and listen to the Circuit Rider’s service or just enjoy the trip back in time to the days of yesteryear and the old west as you spend time in the 1800’s village, Mackey’s General Store, the Mercantile or to simply enjoy the village itself.
Don’t forget to wear your western duds!
